There’s never been a better time to join TEQ healthcare services limited. In these challenging times, we are best placed to offer immediate, continuing employment so you can take part in the national effort, supporting the most vulnerable and in need of care.

We offer a host of benefits to all healthcare staff to show our appreciation for the excellent standards of care that they deliver for our clients.

Here’s what we can offer you.

Workplace perks for all TEQ healthcare staff

A streamlined virtual recruitment process

We’ve streamlined our recruitment process. This means you can go from application to on-shift in as little as 5 days, completing your video interview, induction and training online from home. We will even a uniform and your ID badge straight to your door.

Fixed hours for home carers

Our complex care teams benefit from a fixed rota of shifts to take advantage of being able to plan their lives well in advance.

COVID-19 specific training and ‘educate whilst you isolate’ programs

We have made coronavirus-specific training available to all staff, in areas such as oxygen therapy, taking nasal swabs and donning and doffing PPE.

In addition, we have plenty of opportunities for housebound staff who are social distancing or self-isolating, so that they can use the time to upskill, if they are well enough to do so. This includes virtual training courses and virtual apprenticeships.

Free ongoing training and support

We invest in the learning and development of our healthcare staff and empower them in their careers. After joining us, you’ll benefit from ongoing, exclusive training opportunities to upskill in a range of clinical areas, all from the comfort of home.

In addition, you’ll have 24/7 access to a nurse-led team of clinical advisers for support with decision-making and best practice.

Avoid NHS wait times with the Virtual GP service

Through our workplace benefit, myHealthPlan, all staff have exclusive access to appointments, advice and repeat prescriptions through NHS-registered GPs via the Virtual GP app. This means you’ll be able to have doctor’s appointments at home, using your smartphone, at a time that suits you.

Free security checks and uniform

All staff receive a free DBS/PVG check and uniform as standard.

No zero-hour contracts

We value every member of our community, so we don’t offer zero-hour contracts. Instead, we offer minimum contracted hours and, if a shift is cancelled, we will work to place you elsewhere.

Discounts on products from your favourite brands

All staff have access to our Perks at Work scheme, offering over 30,000 discounts on products from a range of high street retailers across the UK.

Mental health support

We understand the importance of supporting the mental health of our staff. With our therapy team, all staff have access to telephone and face-to-face counselling through the Employee Assistance Programme.

In addition, for in-the-moment support, all staff benefit from Woebot, an AI counsellor, for mood-tracking and advice on cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness.
